Description
VEL 250 up to VEL 2000 are electric loads with manual and programmable operation and respective maximum power ranges between 50 and 2000 W. They are used in various applications (e.g. training, research, development, laboratories, inspection, production, test field, quality assurance) for fast and precise simulation of voltage loads. They are useful for e.g. static and dynamic power supply and battery testing. These electronic loads easily simulate a multitude of load applications. Simple and clear operation of electronic loads is achieved via operation mode switch.

Features
Comprehensive protections such as electronic power limitation, overvoltage and excessive current protection, reverse polarity and over temperature protection prevents the instrument being damaged in error.
Fault and error messages are displayed via LED and can be output via electrically isolated message outputs.
Diplay : 3 digit, display for current and voltage.
The inputs are without earth so that one of the socket may be grounded, if required.

Reliability
All electronic loads are designed for continuous operation and are subject to strict quality controls. For example, each instrument is additionally tested during 24 hours at nominal load and at 45 C ambient temperature following successful functional tests.
