Description
"Vaiseshika" High Precision Decade Resistance Box Type - 7400 has been designed and fabricated to meet the standard calibration requirements.

This Decade Resistance Box can serve the purpose of Precision Resistance Calibration Standards in components manufacturing industries for components comparisons in quality control and instrumentation laboratories for calibration of process control instruments, thermocouples, RTDs, temperature indicators and in engineering laboratories for resistance simulation and instrument calibration.

To meet the stringent accuracy, stability and reliability requirements, the Manganin wires have been used to construct resistors of accuracy 0.05% respectively. Further the gold plated switches have been employed in the best grade of Decade Resistance Box to provide very low contact resistance with drift-free values upto 2,00,000 operations. The economical models carry silver alloy and brass switches with silver plating providing 1,00,000 operations of drift-free values.
