Versatile (Clamp on) Magnascope

Magnascope consists of a circular solid frame having circular magnifying lens of 120mm diameter. The lens magnification is 2.5x, the lens is free from chromatic aberrations. Flexible arms, controlled by rugged springs, hold the circular frame and the lens. The position of the lens can be fixed up at any desired placement. Uniform illumination of the field of view and the object are attained through a circular, rugged and elegant Japanese Fluorescent Lamp. The illumination has a cool and soft effect on the human eyes during continuous and long observations. This eliminates the fatigue in human eyes during investigation. Another unique feature of this instrument is its base. It is provide with a white perspex sheet top which is internally illuminated. This is useful for the inspection of translucent objects like films in transmitted light and printed circuit boards.

In this model the vice base with clamping facility is provided as shown in the diagram. This model is ideally suited for clamping the entire Magnascope on the edge of the working table of the technician or quality control engineer. The clamping arrangement has a clearance gap of 90mm maximum travel and is made of rugged construction
